Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Royal warrant. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please do not add original research to wikipedia. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please ensure that your contributions are explicitly supported by reliable sources. Thanks. DrKay (talk) 14:47, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Sarah, Duchess of York. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Celia Homeford (talk) 11:31, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Celia Homeford, thanks for your message and thank you for your many edits on my copy on other articles too. I'm still figuring out how it all works on Wikipedia, so please forgive any missteps. I will try to rewrite the text in a better way. I do, however, still feel that Debrett's is a reliable source.

Hello. Just noticed that you changed several parts in the same article that used the phrase "The Duchess". While it is true that she is not "The Duchess of York", I haven't seen sources argue that in the context of a sentence she should not be referred to as "the Duchess". For instance, the official website of the royal family refers to Diana, Princess of Wales as "The Princess" multiple times, despite the fact that she was a divorced peeress and not "The Princess of Wales" anymore. Hope I made my point clear. Keivan.fTalk 14:49, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi, Keivan.f, thanks for your message. Yes, I edited that last week on the basis that the Debrett's source suggested she isn't a duchess. I've also now tried to not use original research in my edits. If you feel that she should be referred to as a duchess, then feel free to edit the article.
