edit This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Oscar Asche, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. Gwandoya Talk 04:35, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
AusStage is the Australian National Performing Arts Database which is run by a partnership of eighteen Australian Universities - it includes listings of performance which relate to people with articles in Wikipedia. These listings are not suitable for inclusion within the body of the article but should be considered important as an external link. This is not spam. Fewster (talk) 04:56, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please read the Wikipedia's policies and guidelines on External links. In a nut shell: external links should be kept to a minimum. Gwandoya Talk 05:10, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- I have read the Guidelines and I quote "What should be linked - Sites that contain neutral and accurate material that cannot be integrated into the Wikipedia article due to copyright issues, amount of detail (such as professional athlete statistics, movie or television credits, interview transcripts, or online textbooks) or other reasons." If I now add the links from these performers to AusStage again will you proceed with removing them again? Fewster (talk) 23:24, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to WikiProject Theatre
editThank you for adding your name to our project membership list! Our goal is to make Wikipedia the the finest, most comprehensive resource of theatre topics available online. As a project member, you might like to introduce yourself on our talk page and maybe add the project membership userbox to your user page.
If you haven't done so already, please add our main project page to your watchlist and browse our page of useful templates. When you have a moment, please take some time to review our article structure guidelines for theatre articles, which give a handy guide to sections you should try to include in articles about theatre. If you would like suggestions about where to start, we've gathered a few suggestions in the Project to do list and in our tasklist.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the project talk page or on my talk page. Again, welcome and happy editing!

editThis is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. AusStage (www.ausstage.edu.au) is the Australian National Performing Arts Database which is run by a partnership of eighteen Australian Universities and funded by the Australian Federal Government - it includes listings of performance which relate to people with articles in Wikipedia. These listings are not suitable for inclusion within the body of the article but should be considered important as an external link, as IMBD is. This is definitely not spam. I'm sorry that you have reverted my links to AusStage and hope that you will see fit to reinstate them.
Furthermore, I have read the Guidelines and I quote "What should be linked - Sites that contain neutral and accurate material that cannot be integrated into the Wikipedia article due to copyright issues, amount of detail (such as professional athlete statistics, movie or television credits, interview transcripts, or online textbooks) or other reasons." - Not going to happen. You have been at this for over 5 years. See WP:LINKSPAM, WP:ADV etc. Nymf talk to me 12:55, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
