Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of schools in Milton Keynes. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:28, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, and thank you for your advice. A question - when I am ready, how can I submit the page for review/make the page no longer a draft? Sanjay Soneji (talk) 21:41, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Population of MK

edit

First, the preliminary figures released by the ONS is for the entire Milton Keynes City Council area (incl Olney etc), not just MK. That change has already been made in the lead of City of Milton Keynes (but not the infobox because the definitive figures are not yet out). It is not the correct figure for MK itself.

Second, you must not change statements supported by citations unless you also change the supporting citation too. So for example to change a 2011 figure supported by https://www.nomisweb.co.uk/reports/localarea?compare=E34005056 to give a different figure [even if we assume for the purposes of argument that it was ever correct] without also updating the citation, is just wrong. This is an important principle that applies to every article on Wikipedia, no matter what it is about. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 20:26, 9 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
