Adoption?

edit

Would you like to be adopted? If so, place {{adoptee|Malinaccier} on your userpage. •Malinaccier Public T/C 17:36, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Assignment

edit

Assignment: Create your own custom signature, by changing it in your preferences. If you have any questions, just see my talk page. You may want to include a link to your talk page. Good luck •Malinaccier Public T/C 17:59, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

  Award of First Success
Good job on the signature. Creating your own signature gives other editors easy access to other pages besides your user page. This also shows that you know how to do the basic fundamentals of code!

Assignment 2

edit

Your next assignment is to get at least 100 edits by December 10. Malinaccier (talk contribs) 00:11, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would also like you to welcome at least 10 new users to wikipedia (who can be found here) using a template. My personal welcoming template is {{subst:User:Malinaccier/Welcome}}. Malinaccier (talk contribs) 00:32, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I must also warn you of Editcountitis. Just having high amounts of edits, doesn't mean anything •Malinaccier Public T/C 17:25, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re:Vandalism help

edit

General warnings are at WP:WARN. You can report vandals to WP:AIV. Hope that helps. Malinaccier Public (talk) 16:23, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

For the filter:
Copy the following content into your monobook.js file. After it is saved, press CTRL+F5 to reload the monobook.js file.
importScript('User:Lupin/recent2.js');
For Popups:
Enter Special:Preferences and click "Gadgets", check the box to enable Popups, then click save. Press CTRL+F5 to reload your browser.

Hope that helps! Malinaccier (talk) 00:18, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

edit

I believe that you would benefit greatly by having rollback, and I therefore have enabled it on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 22:41, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedies

edit

you would add {{db-reason}} to the article. If the reason was "vandalism" then you would add {{db-vandalism}}. Hope this helps. =) Malinaccier (talk) 23:53, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Assignment

edit

Your assignment is to edit article content rather than just reverting vandalism. Just pick a page you are interested in, and add information or fix any problems that you see. Good luck, Malinaccier (talk) 00:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could you make a few more edits? Malinaccier (talk) 00:33, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I understand where you're coming from. Just continue doing whatever interests you here, but don't neglect editing articles. We can just drop this assignment for now if you'd like...Malinaccier (talk) 01:01, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're right.
I'm logging out tonight, but if you have more questions I can answer them tomorrow morning. Malinaccier (talk) 01:04, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
