Fill in some user info?

Hi Fabrizio, have you considered filling in an English language profile with the info from the Italian one? I hope Pete's responses have been helpful. - Sara FB (talk) 14:21, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

RE:Fill in some user info?

edit

Hi sara, the page I created was in English, and included a small table in which to record my progress of the course. has been removed in immediate mode because considered CV page, so I created a new one Here where I have a wiki project running(Bergamo HUB)

I undestand the Note about conflict of interest (COI): but I received the same treatment during the planning of the translation of our (OER) manual peeragogy Handbook in Wikibooks

This book presents a range of techniques that self-motivated learners can use to connect with each other and develop stronger communities and collaborations. The book is addressed to everyone who is interested in how learning works, whether you’re an educator, a hobbyist, an artist, a home-school student, an employee, a parent, an activist, an archivist, a mathematician, or a tennis player. The book was written by a bunch of people who think learning is cool. and in (CC0)

Bhe.. also Handbook had similar problem... now it's fine but motivation has collapsed

At paragogy.net I'm free to make mistakes and write what I think is the right text to write.  :)

Thank you for your support,

I am willing to continue learning with you.

Hey, glad you're still with us! How about filling in the profile here too? User:Fabrizio_Terzi_P2PU I think User:PeteForsyth had suggested that as one way for you to establish yourself and remove any perception of COI. Did you see his note, posted elsewhere? Trying to remember where. Anyway glad you're still with us! - Sara FB (talk) 22:23, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Sara, surely I will do it. I would like to ask you an opinion.

I think the Peeragogy Handbook would be a great (OER) resource to organize.

I already have a lot of Articles on which work and practicing. Peeragogy.NET Translation Status and a Wikibook to set properly Peeragogia wikibook

Do you think it may meet consensus?

Have a nice day,

P.S.

I rewrote the user page in another way .. hope goes well

Speedy deletion nomination of \sendbox

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Part of the course https://p2pu.org/en/courses/49/content/98/

What is your question? If it is about your "article" \sendbox, that was deleted because it contained only the words "Fabrizio Terzi profile page" and you signature. The right place to put a brief profile of yourself is your user page at User:Fabrizio Terzi P2PU where at present you seem to have a copy of your course details. If you want to make sub-pages in your user space, they need to start with your username and a forward-slash character /, like User:Fabrizio Terzi P2PU/sandbox. Dear Anna and P2PU Wikipedia Class

edit

Dear Anna and P2PU Wikipedia Class,

With this, I will communicate my intention to leave the P2PU WIKI course. The reasons should be quite clear at this point. In any case I will continue to do the exercises sporadically in a personal Mediawiki where I can decide the most appropriate (OER) content to work on.

Thanks for your cooperation,

--Fabrizio Terzi P2PU (talk) 12:27, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Fabrizio...
Your new user page looks great!!! It is still right where you put it, at User:Fabrizio_Terzi_P2PU.
If I recall correctly, your original page was on the Italian Wikipedia site (which is entirely separate), and was removed because it was in English, instead of in Italian. So this time you did the right thing by creating your English Wikipedia user page in English (I think that is what Pete said to do, anyway...)
It also looks like, in addition to successfully creating your User page here, you accidentally created a brand new page called "Sendbox" linking to your user page only, which the system interpreted as an attempt to promote your own interests. This kind of quick deletion is one way in which Encyclopedic quality is maintained in Wikipedia (Pete has talked about this in class and in lab this week and you can watch the recordings here if you remain curious. My suspicion is that you were actually hoping to work in your "Sandbox", a link to which is found at the top of every page (see above in red). Nothing would be deleted from your Sandbox as it is private for your own playing... unlike "Sendbox" which was published immediately!
Anyway, whatever you decide about the course I wish you the best of luck. We would be sad to lose you as you are a star pupil in your enthusiasm and commitment. By the way, I suggest if you want to let others know about your experiences with this, you use the CommOER course Talk page at Wikipedia_talk:Communicate_OER_SOO_Course so they can learn from your experiences. Good luck!!! - Sara FB (talk) 01:28, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Sara The page is resuscitated Thanks :)

in the week task I have to insert a media into a page... I enclose a sandbox video, and then I tried to make it.. bed idea :)

wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Fabrizio_Terzi_P2PU is just a normal WIKI user page I guess not a new wikipedia material right? ... perhaps it would be a good idea create a dedicated space for the course, in order to let the participants the freedom to introduce themselves without to many restrictions ... It would also be easier to see the content produced by the classmates and receive reports from class instructors.

I am still with you ... :) best,
