editHello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Fred Catero, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 23:16, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Fred Catero has died. We are working on an update of his information, so I removed the main body of his main entry (Fred Catero). and I'm parking it here, so we can edit it accurately and re post on the main page. Hope this answers your question. I did enter the reason for the edit when I published it. Many thanks, DR FRED TWO (talk) 23:35, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Please restore the entries you deleted. Fred's wife and I are trying to updatenhis entry after his death, and every time I edit and update the entry someone at Wkikpedia takes it down and puts the old outdate entry back up. HEEEEEELLLLP ! Thank you,
- David Rubinson (BTW, a supporter of Wikipedia) FRED TWO (talk) 03:20, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
Hello, FRED TWO. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page David Rubinson, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You signed yourself as David Rubinson above. This implies a definite conflict of interest. 97.113.27.216 (talk) 12:31, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- Noting for the record a conversation I had with an IP editor also claiming to be David Rubinson: diff. Mr. Rubinson, please ask at the Teahouse or help desk if you have questions about Wikipedia's various policies. I know they can be complicated. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 20:59, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
Content must cite a wp:reliable source see help:referencing for beginners. If you have a question, please ask at the wp:Teahouse. You can also discuss edits on talk:Fred Catero. See help:talk pages and, more more details, wp:talk page guidelines. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 03:57, 1 November 2022 (UTC)

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 08:05, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
