Greetings edit

I have a problem with putting inline citations - the answer to your fact tab at Indonesian Communist Party is on the talk page SatuSuro 02:11, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

BTW your wikistress level looks terrible - have you seen the wikibonked tag? It might be what you need - :) SatuSuro 02:16, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

MC Pitman edit

A tag has been placed on MC Pitman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —Pilotguy (ptt) 01:50, 27 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD for Alliance Marxist-Leninist edit

Could you add references, please? Another editor has listed an article that you have been involved in editing, Alliance Marxist-Leninist, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alliance Marxist-Leninist. Please look there to see why this is, if you are interested in whether it should be deleted. Thank you. --Eastmain 05:38, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I started to describe the situation of bricklayers in germany in the article. In saw you worked on the article, so i thought may be you wanted to have a look. i do have links of references for the stuff i wrote, but for some reason i was not able to include them.

I thought may be you could help me with that.

Dangar Island edit

Hi. Dangar Island, Have you seen the article recently. Mindys12345 جميع أفراد المجتمع المؤهلين مدعوون للتصويت في انتخابات مجلس أمناء مؤسسة ويكيميديا. .

Pseudo-anglicism edit

Hey. I see you removed several German "pseudo-anglicisms". Although I agree that "killer" and "killen" aren't strictly pseudo-anglicisms, "Handy" definitely is. In fact, de:Scheinanglizismus says "Das wohl bekannteste Beispiel im Deutschen ist das Synonym für „Mobiltelefon“, „Handy“" (the best known example in German is "Handy", a synonym for "mobile phone"). I see someone else has already readded it. SalaSkan 18:37, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'll concede on this. I accept the the 'y' suffix of 'Handy' is a pseudo-anglicism – though I believe that the 'hand' part clearly is not, given that the word is exactly the same in German and English anyway. 23:04, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Jaguar Cars edit

Hello. I just restored the blurb about Jaguar Cars competitors, but I did add a {{fact}} tag. It shouldn't be too difficult to source those, as most of them do seem to be plausible competitors (in my mind, at least).   user:j    talk   03:05, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

My interpretation of policy is that you shouldn't do that until you have the reference. Personally, I am dubious that such a thing is verifiable – particularly as I think many of the marques cited are not in much direct competition with Jaguar. mgekelly 03:08, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:CVU status edit

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Your edits to Gout edit

I'm a little concerned about the slash-and-burn editing that you did to the Gout article. I'm not reverting any of it because... well, even though you deleted a lot of information, you are technically correct to remove unverified information. Besides, I don't have time to find the right references for it right now.

However, I still contend that you deleted a lot of good information that would be trivial to cite. Please consider fact tags as your first step instead of wholesale deletion. Thanks. --Mdwyer 04:56, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I understand your concern. The explanation for my action is twofold. Firstly, last time I checked the policy, it leaned heavily on a statement by Jimbo that specifically states that deletion was preferable to fact tags. Secondly, in this case I thought that this policy should be enforced very thoroughly here, because the article was giving what amounted to medical advice without citations. This is literally possibly injurious to readers. 04:59, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Your edits to Fortress Europe edit

I'm a little concerned about the slash-and-burn editing that you did to the Fortress Europe article.

I was going to deal with a large chunk of it that was the same as Immigration, only to find

Wow, it like totally wiped out the whole idea of the former article, OR or not. Surely you hit the wrong key? Jidanni 23:54, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Response desired edit

Ah, you must have missed the above section because it looked like the previous section. Please respond. Jidanni 03:03, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wait, I see on your user page that you are acutely aware of what you are doing. OK, never mind. Jidanni 03:06, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey. I apologise for not responding – it wasn't quite clear to me from your message that a response was necessary. My actions on Fortress Europe were extreme, but look, that page was OR, unreferenced, and I don't see any obvious potential for a good article on the topic. Don't get me wrong – I like and use the concept of 'Fortress Europe' when talking about European immigration, but NPOV-wise, stuff about the EU and immigration should be on the relevant article, and this ain't it. 05:49, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi there! edit

I just wanted to let you know that I restored the section about the Head of State of Lybia. It was an article by itself that was merged into the general one. You are right in saying that the redaction could be improved, I guess, but it's an important matter that can not be avoided when speaking about the subject. Regards. --Damifb 17:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

People's Park (Berkeley) edit

I thought your edits were spot-on, however they didn't go over too well with the author of the passage you deleted. I've posted an RfC on the subject. Dlabtot 18:08, 31 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
