I saw the notice, but

edit

I see the notice that this is a new page, but we cannot permit copyright violations to remain while someone might work on fixing the problem.--SPhilbrickT 22:17, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well, I see someone removed the offending material, leaving virtually nothing, so it fails other guidelines, but I'll wait until it is tagged again. You might consider starting in user space (use the Article Wizard) to give you some time to work on it in peace (as long as you don't reintroduce material under copyright.)--SPhilbrickT 22:20, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the feedback, considering the response user space might have been a good idea. I was hoping the new article tag would point out this is a work in progress --Ericn9 (talk) 22:24, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
While your tagging the article as "new" is commendable, as soon as anything hits mainspace, it's up for immediate review and critique. Working in a userpace gives an editor the luxury of time. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 05:43, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

And in case it helps...

edit

I think the film article has enough coverage in independent reliable sources to be found as notable enough to be kept... and have just spent some time expanding and adding sources.[1] But what may help you is to take a look at an essay that may be helpful in determining a film's possible notability...found at WP:TOOSOON. And another essay I have been working on to assist new Wikipedia editors... is at User:MichaelQSchmidt/Newcomer's guide to guidelines. Welcome aboard.
