Welcome to Wikipedia, EricPZ! I am Calaka and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! - Really only have a couple questions right now. 1. is how to understand what is going on with a project and 2. how do I get rid of a page I had intended to create on the sandbox I created on my user account? ITFC_09-10 I thought was in my sandbox. oops. {{helpme}}
- 1. Watch the project page and the project talk page; that's where everything will be documented. For example, Wikipedia:WikiProject Football and therefore Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football. For a list of projects, see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Directory/Links.
- 2. Edit the page and put {{db-user}} at the top; this will indicate that, as creator and sole editor, you would like it removed.
- For more help, you can either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR - Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end;

- In the future, you might find it easier to aviod these problems if you create pages by first putting a link on your own user page. To demonstrate, I have just edited your user page, and added the following code;

Invite to the African Destubathon edit
Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Registration is now open for WikiConference North America 2022 (Nov. 11–13) held jointly with Mapping USA! If you would like to experience this virtual event in-person, you are welcome to join our meetup in Indianapolis! We will be meeting at IUPUI University Library for the weekend, with AV set up for conference streaming and presenting (for those who've submitted proposals). Anyone is welcome to join, we will have some light refreshments and are planning evening activities. Feel free to join us for an activity, a day, or the whole weekend. Please let us know you are coming via the meetup page and please register for the conference. We will share more about in-person activities on the meetup page as they are finalized.
