Hello Eric.J.Hebert~enwiki, welcome to Wikipedia!

I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing,

Eric Hebert

USCG Racing stripe color

edit

Image:CGMark W.gif looks orange, but http://www.uscg.mil/top/graphics/logos.asp [1] and [2] look red. Which is the correct color? I know one says "web safe", but the ones on the USCG site all look red. Thanks. --Dual Freq 02:50, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The "Official" Colors of the United States Coast Guard are Red, White and Blue, *BUT* the red is actually International Orange (PMS 179 C). I refer you to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Style Usage Guide --Eric J. Hebert 16:09, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello Eric,
would you happen to have the original vector source available for this image? It would be superb, because the used vectorization is not original. --hydrox (talk) 17:32, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
