Disambiguation link notification for September 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited InterContinental Marseille Hotel Dieu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Provençal. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

December 2014 edit

Hello. I noticed that you attempted to file a deletion discussion (on the article Dalma (dish)) but did not complete the process. Please note that, when listing an article for deletion, a discussion page needs to be made for other users to discuss whether to keep or delete the article. This is typically done by following the steps listed here. Note that if you are editing as an unregistered user, you cannot create a discussion page. Please consider registering an account or asking another user to help you complete the process at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion. Thank you. ansh666 19:30, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the reminder! I have gone through the AfD process before, but I was clumsy and must have forgot. I will complete it now. EmperorNapoléonI (talk) 23:18, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bolívar Square, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page International Style. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:58, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi edit

Your user page indicates that you have "taken over" this user ID from a friend. That means you've inherited their privileges and you will also inherit their responsibilities. Please make sure that you've read and understood the guidelines. I've tagged your article to bring to your attention how it needs to be improved. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest as the way you've written it does suggest you have some connection with the organisation. Deb (talk) 11:25, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Deb, thanks for the kind reminder & the points made on the article. Before using this account, I was a Wiki member several years ago so I'm pretty familiar with the ropes. Though I'm not employed by or connected in other ways to the IAYG, I have worked with them on projects in the past & hence am very familiar with the operation of the organisation. I'll read through your comments and do my best to edit to avoid conflicts of interest and present as neutrally as possible. Best regards EmperorNapoléonI (talk) 11:29, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Deb, thanks again for your help & kind words. I've read over the article again and saw your point - in several sections I must've relied a little too heavily on official organisation documents & press releases. I've made substantial revisions that I think neutralises the point of view: adjusting wording that may have taken too closely off of organisation documents. The article now essentially lays out the information as an encyclopedia article should and cites the IAYG's mission as needed. I think it should be sufficient for now - reading through it several times, there is nothing that strikes as biased or non-neutral, though I welcome others to make adjustments as they see fit for NPOV. Hence, I have removed the tags; the normal vigilance that a new article attracts should be enough to get it in good shape. If you still believe NPOV standards have not been met, please let me know here in detail so I can address ASAP. Best regards EmperorNapoléonI (talk) 12:03, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
