Speedy deletion nomination of User:Emma Harbonnier/sandbox edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Emma Harbonnier/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — fortunavelut luna 10:40, 7 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Emma Harbonnier. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article CORYS, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. The company is notable, so I did not request deletion, but keep in mind that it's on my watchlist. Kleuske (talk) 08:58, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

August 2017 edit

  Hello, I'm Kleuske. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to CORYS have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles are written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 11:18, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Disclosure of employment edit

Hello Emma Harbonnier. Your edits look as if you are being paid , such as the edit you made to CORYS. Paid promotion is an especially egregious type of conflict of interest (COI)
Paid articles should be submitted through the articles for creation process. If you are receiving or expect to receive money for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post the disclosure on your user page at User:Emma Harbonnier. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Emma Harbonnier|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}.
If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being paid, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:32, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Je vous ai laissé le même message sur votre page de discussion sur la Wikipédia francophone. SVP repondez là-bas aussi... merci. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:44, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have nominated this article for deletion because there's enough to believe there was a financial role here and we cannot accept this in our Terms of Use. Trampton (talk) 21:42, 10 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Emma Harbonnier/sandbox edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Emma Harbonnier/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 03:36, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
