I have a quick question for Wizard191. I was trying to determine why the history section of the MIM article was removed. Is it due to the reference and source being a commercial website? Or was there another style reason for which it was removed. Thank you very much for your help.

While I am not Wizard191, the history section for Metal injection molding was removed due to a copyright violation - the material was word for word from txmim.com. Further, Wikipedia has policies on what is, or is not, a reliable source, and all content must be verifiable from a reliable source. That website would probably not be deemed a reliable source, as we have no clue as to the editorial process and fact checking that is done before posting information to that website. I'm confused. If factually the statement that MIM is a relatively new, niche product and illustrating that by stating that only two furnace manufacturers exist in the United States is all fact, why then is it advertising. These statements are as factual and non-advertising based as for instance the Cola article (one example of many) which includes in the first introductory paragraph the more advertisement-like statement: "Coca-Cola has become the major international brand, leading to the drink often being seen as a symbol of the United States." Not only would competitors take exception to that statement, but at least the MIM article additions I have made reflect that there are two major manufacturers and makes zero distinctions or qualitative comparisons between them. There is a lack of soapboxing or opinion in my edit to the MIM article, and the MIM article is already no more than a stub any further information and references to other sources would seem to be appropriate.
