Pompeii edit
Maben corroborated the majority of the facts in my book, as I am the author of the work cited, but there were also several things which he was unaware of and which I discovered through my own research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eightsquared (talk • contribs)
- Could you have a look at the discussion at Talk:Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii#Questionable sources. The problem is that (as you might expect) a number of enthusiasts have been working on Pink Floyd articles for as long as Wikipedia has been around, and Andy Mabbett who is a recognised expert on the band, is a regular contributor. I don't mind new sources turning up, such as Ron Geesin's Atom Heart Mother book, but that was signed off and formally published by The History Press, and the quality standards for traditional publishers are much higher (as they can be sued for libel if they get it wrong).
