Hello, Egb27! Welcome to Wikipedia! It appears that you are here to participate in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia's page for questions. You can also ask me by visiting my user talk page and leaving a message, or you can ask your question on this page by editing it and placing {{Help me}} before your question. Please make sure that you sign your messages on discussion pages, which is done by entering four tildes (~~~~) at the very end of it; this will automatically insert your username and the date. I also highly recommend that you review the advice for students page.

Before you create an article, make sure that you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one, please tell your instructor about creating one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know that the article is a subject of an educational assignment as well as aid your communication with them.

Here are some more pages that you might find helpful:

Urban heat inequity

Hi. I moved your draft back to your sandbox because it isn't complete enough to be live in Wikipedia's mainspace yet. You're off to a good start, but it still needs some work before you move it. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:04, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, Egb27. Thank you for your work on Urban heat inequity. Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thanks for this new article, on an important topic. You've chosen references well! Just noting a few technical things I've recently fixed, and you might want to keep in mind for future articles: use sentence case for headings, add the reflist (or similar) template to locate the references automatically, and add categories so that your articles can be found even if not linked from other pages. Linking from elsewhere is also important. Also, the first sentence described what the topic was 'based on', but not what it is - be more direct in the first sentence.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
