Proposed deletion of Hawaiianize

edit

The article Hawaiianize has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

One minor reference, no indication of notability, primarily used to promote an album (now removed). Unreliable sources, original research.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ed, you should not have removed the prod tag, as your edits have not addressed the fundamental problems that have been raised. Viriditas (talk) 01:40, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Ed, you are confusing two separate topics: 1) Transliteration of English into Hawaiian, and 2) Hawaiianization, the influence of Hawaiian culture on other cultures. Please remedy your error. There are good sources for the former, but hardly enough for a separate article, and there are very few sources for the latter. Viriditas (talk) 01:49, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
