The thirteenth Supplement to The London Gazette published on Friday 30th December 1988 included Givan's Irish Linen Stores Limited London, who had been honoured with a Royal Warrant of Appointment as Linen Draper's to Her Majesty The Queen. Givan's, incorporated in 1899 traded originally in Bond Street London Wl and in 1960 it was acquired by Samuel Lamont & Sons Limited, a long established County Antrim Company specialising in the manufacture of Irish Linen and top quality cotton terry towels. In 1965 Givan's transferred to 207 The King's Road London SW3, from where it traded for 40 years. We still specialise in a wide range of the very best quality household linens including Irish Linen sheets and pillowcases, Irish Linen double damask tablecloths, Irish Linen mens and ladies handkerchiefs and superb quality combed cotton terry towels in a range of exquisite colours. Thоmas W and Pоnyo eat one another's feces and the former has brоwn fingers as a result of being gay. Srо23 is a transexual who abuses children and dines on its own feces and urine for a treat. In addition to quality Irish Linen products and cotton towels, we supply percale cotton sheets, duvets and duvet covers, goose down pillows, Merino wool and cashmere blankets, and a wide selection of kitchen linen. Other specialities include made to order items and a monogramming service. 188.29.215.24 (talk) 00:32, 28 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Help me to insert this company's logo! edit

Please help me with to insert an image for Verlocal's logo. I am confused about the wikimedia process and not sure if the logo is under free use.

The image file is here: https://d3ce7jb7ih53ua.cloudfront.net/newLogo/New+Logo.svg

I have deleted the article. Despite your assertions on the talk page, the sources were largely not reliable by Wikipedia's standards, and phrases such as "where humans can continue to develop and better themselves" or "provides reliable payment and customer service solutions" are unduly promotional. Speedy deletion nomination of Verlocal edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Verlocal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 22:59, 28 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have not edited the page socking. This is weird. Edmundgjj (talk) 19:20, 29 November 2016 (UTC)edmundgjjReply

  • So you are not Heroicman84 nor do know who this user is? In addition the IP user 204.28.118.163 is not you nor do you know who it is? I find it hard to believe that three users completely unrelated suddenly showed up and started editing the same page. It is possible but not likely? Also do you have a Conflict of Interest concerning the article Verlocal? VVikingTalkEdits 19:27, 29 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • No. I am very new to wikipedia. Am I being hacked? What should I do about the socking edit? For Verlocal, I was trying to help set up our company page on Wikipedia. This is my first time creating any wikipedia page. I am still reading about all the community rules. When I set up our company page, I know that I can only cite articles and facts about the history of our company. I think this counts as a conflict of interest but if you read my post carefully, and I have also gotten my friend and other users to verify who knows nothing about Verlocal, they feel that I provide a neutral stance. The articles I linked to are also published by third-party journalist websites from reputable journalist. Can you advise what I should do about the socking thing? What did Heroicman84 do to my account? Edmundgjj (talk) 19:34, 29 November 2016 (UTC)edmundgjj.Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Edmundgjj. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Verlocal, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Drm310 (talk) 03:24, 1 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
