Speedy deletion nomination of User:Eazypat

edit

A tag has been placed on User:Eazypat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. creffett (talk) 16:01, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Help me!

Please help me with...

Eazypat (talk) 17:08, 14 June 2019 (UTC) How do I write the best article......Reply

Please have a look at Wikipedia:Your first article and the Wikipedia:Tutorial. Writing articles on Wikipedia is not an easy task. You should spend time learning before attempting to create articles. There are a lot of policies and guidelines to follow, and you don't want to risk violating them even if you don't mean to.
Your user page (User:Eazypat) is not an article, nor is it workspace for an article in progress. You should use the draft article space for works in progress.
Wikipedia only accepts articles about topics it defines as notable and are not outside the scope of Wikipedia. Articles summarize previously published material from sources that are deemed both reliable and independent of the article's subject. Unpublished original research or self-published sources will not be considered. Articles must be written from a neutral point of view, as if written by a dispassionate third party. Users should not write about topics where they have a personal or professional connection, and must declare any paid relationships to a topic. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:03, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from User:Eazypat, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:

Please I am really sorry, I have seen my error and I am willing to get back to business here. Please unblock me

Decline reason:

Rather than just wait for a reply here, you created a sock account, and the VERY first edit was this: [1]. This was clearly promotional and designed to promote yourself. This is exactly what you were blocked for. I do not feel it would be appropriate to unblock you as you are here simply to promote yourself. RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:23, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

RickinBaltimore I am a content creator and I am about getting a Wiki related Job, please I beg you don't ruin my life for me. I didn't know that writing about my career is promoting myself and I just said it is clearer now. Please kindly unblock me

Decline reason:

If you didn't know that writing about your "outstanding" career was promoting yourself, then I would question if you have the skills needed to participate here. Wikipedia is not concerned with your choice of career and has very little interest in helping enable your paid editing, when the rest of us are volunteers here because we believe in this project. Looking at the promotional text you posted, it looks like you have many other avenues to make a living with; I suggest you pursue those instead of Wikipedia editing. As you don't tell us what edits you wish to make, I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 13:18, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I can't decline this again, but I now have even more concerns as you will be writing Wikipedia articles for pay. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:16, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

RickinBaltimore, talk You got it wrong. I can't recall saying it is a paid role. Can you at least unblock and if I go against the policy then you can block me. I am even more of a volunteer than you, you didn't have to mention that to me. But Please lets be professional here and leave personal sentiments. Please unblock this so I can benefit and learn from this space as well. Thank you.

Decline reason:

So you mention that you're a system admin for Wikimedia Nigeria. Could your provide some links? This account has never edited anything other than self-promotion. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 15:58, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

RickinBaltimore, talk... I need to maybe mention that I am the System Admin for Wikimedia Nigeria. I manage the Wikimedia webpage for Nigeria as a VOLUNTEER. I do this with Sola and some other great guys. We are very professional with our Volunteer role and passionate. This was why I apologized for the content error. Thank you for your understanding.

The name EazyPat is from my name, Ezekiel Patrick and not a promotional username. Please anybody there unblock me please. Thank you for your understanding

You have an open unblock request, multiple requests will not speed up the process. Statements in addition to your request should be standard, unformatted comments. Please be patient, and perhaps use this time to improve your request. 331dot (talk) 20:02, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you 331dot for your response. I await the unblocking please. Thank you for your understanding. Eazypat (talk) 20:30, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear 331dot Please any response on my Unblock request ? Eazypat (talk) 08:15, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You must be patient. Administrators are volunteers, doing what they can when they can. As I said, you can use this time to consider improving your request, such as by telling what specific edits you wish to make. You may also want to clarify the questions regarding paid editing, you stated "I am about getting a Wiki related Job" but then claim you are not a paid editor. Both of those things cannot be true at the same time. 331dot (talk) 08:26, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

talk Sure I will be patient but as I said all Jobs are not necessarily paid. You have a Job with Wikipedia even if its a volunteer role. I am an editor and a content writer, I have a Blog that pays me but I need Wikipedia experience in Improving my writing skills. No strings attached please. Thank you. Eazypat (talk) 08:38, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

There are other ways to improve writing skills. Note that when you use the word "job" most people will interpret that as something you are doing to earn money even if you are technically correct that a job can be unpaid. Payment does not have to be in money, either. Just saying. 331dot (talk) 08:46, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the correction. Its appreciated. Eazypat (talk) 08:49, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello talk, please any update on my unblock request. Its over 48 hours already please. Thank you. Eazypat (talk) 16:15, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

It could be a lot longer than 48 hours. I would suggest that you set your Preferences to send you an email when this page is edited. Do you have a particular need for a speedy resolution? 331dot (talk) 19:45, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

talk, Do they need to be an urgent need for me to be able to get back to Wikipedia. I hope this is not a way of punishing me. I have been dormant on Wikipedia for a long while and focused and work more with Wikimedia. Now I wanted coming back to start learning how to write and do great stuffs here and this is what I get ? Eazypat (talk) 19:58, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

How do you mean Lobon1...My name is Eazy not Lobon. The other account I created was deleted by an admin, he advised I wait for this to be Unblocked and yet you guys choose to punish and not Unblock me. I don't know any Lobon1 and please when will you unblock my account. This is totally unfair I will be sincere with you. We are all volunteers, you volunteer for Wikipedia and I volunteer for Wikimedia Nigeria yet you choose to punish me.
