 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 19:53, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Previous account(s)?

Hello, Eastern Anatolia,

Your first edits were to comment in some AFD discussions. Most new editors aren't aware of AFD deletion discussions until they have been editing for months if not years and would never find their way to an AFD to comment or even know how to participate. And you have commented on quite a few that seem outside of your interest area.

What previous accounts have you used to edit Wikipedia? Please disclose them on your User page, whether they are blocked or unblocked. Otherwise, you might be considered to be engaging in sockpuppetry. If you continue to participate in AFDs, please make a thoughtful contribution to the discussion, with policy-based evaluations of articles and sources.

If you have questions about any of these comments, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:12, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
