There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. The image(s) uploaded to Wikimedia have been released to a Creative Commons license. In addition, the text from the website has also been released unto the public domain. I see now that the website has not been updated with text to reflect this decision. As I am also the author of that text I will ensure that a text disclosure is added to the website post haste. As I am blocked from editing the page I would appreciate the changes I have made be rolled back where you deem it appropriate. My interest is to add up to date information to improve the function of the page as a research tool. EMCStaff (talk) 16:34, 8 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have better familiarized myself with the guidelines regarding conflict of interests, henceforth I will include any edits as proposals on the talk pages and also clarify that I am being compensated for my writing.

User is unresponsive, username is unavailable. Yamla (talk) 13:43, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
If you want this to even be considered you need to also propose a new username as you cannot use this one. Beeblebrox (talk) 17:04, 8 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

There is already a 'Diana Clark' registered; you will need to choose a different username. You don't need to make a new request, simply edit your existing one to replace your original choice with your new choice. 331dot (talk) 12:28, 12 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

To make a new request, please follow the instructions for making a request(as you did with your earlier request) instead of altering declined requests. Thanks 331dot (talk) 22:51, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I would like clarification on how to properly post or make edits for a page. Can someone help me with this? I am a paid employee who is looking to improve the accuracy of the page and I want to disclose any Conflict of Interest or Paid contribution properly. Do i need to insert the templates on this page when disclosing any changes to the page? or do I create a new Talk section?

You should visit the talk page of the article in question(in this case Talk:Enrique Martinez Celaya) and post a formal edit request there for any changes you feel are needed, which will draw the attention of other editors.(You can post a request without the formal aspect, but it is less likely to be seen and acted on relatively quickly.) Keep in mind that in most cases you will need independent reliable sources to support any changes you want to see.
You should make the needed disclosures on your user page (User:EMC11240). It's also a good idea to mention it in any edit requests you make. 331dot (talk) 18:45, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
