Notability of new articles edit

You recently created the articles Bloodsongs, Fuel Flowers, and Trouble magazine. At the moment, none of these appear to be notable. The key to notability is reliable third-party sources; please see Wikipedia:Notability (books) (which, by analogy, also applies to magazines), and Wikipedia:Notability (events). Speaking of the new articles edit

  Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. There is no need to sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. I notice a common thread in your contributions edit

  Hello Dubbothedevo. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Notability issues and the rest edit

Thank you Paul A and Hairy Wombat for picking me up on these issues. I am still very much finding my feet in Wiki but hoping to become a good contributor in future. I understand completely the need for neutrality in these posts and will strive to achieve it. My initial posts do include some of my own work, though much of that is collaborative and so is relevant and able to be cross-linked to many existing posts on Wikipedia, as well as independent sources. I will be making efforts to revise these posts specifically to increase their relevance and notability, and will encourage other wiki contribs who have knowledge of these subjects to revise and cross-check in order to increase notability and verify authenticity. You should make copies of your articles, either onto your local PC or into your User space on Wikipedia. That way, if they get deleted you can recover your work. Also as far as notability is concerned, links to other Wikipedia articles don't count; you need links to independent verifiable (published) sources. Looking at the articles now, I don't see any such sources, and the articles are unlikely to survive. Nomination of Bloodsongs for deletion edit

Speedy deletion nomination of Fuel Flowers edit
