Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm not sure if the article Women's Work: the Montana Women's Centennial Art Survey Exhibition 1889-1989 meets notability criteria, as explained in WP:Notability. In general, subjects need to have significant coverage from multiple, reliable, third-party sources in order to justify inclusion in this encyclopedia. These guidelines are in place to ensure articles can comply with the three core-content policies of Verifiability, neutral point of view, and no original research. Thus, the catalog itself, while probably a reliable source for information about the existence of the exhibit, cannot be used to demonstrate the notability of the exhibit. Ideal sources with which to establish notability and improve the article include reviews of the exhibit from journals, magazines, or newspapers, and scholarly articles directly commenting on the exhibit–its reception, influence, etc. Articles that fail to meet notability guidelines may be nominated for deletion, merging, or redirecting to other articles. Also, since you're a graduate student, please read advice for expert editors: in short, Wikipedia articles are different from many collegiate style writing, and cannot include the personal opinions or novel syntheses of editors (Wikipedians), no matter their level of expertise. It can take some time to become familiar with the policies, guidelines, and standards of Wikipedia: the links in the welcome message above are good places to start. Please don't be discouraged from contributing any way you can. Cheers! --Animalparty! (talk) 03:11, 26 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
