Proposed deletion of Initial Milestone Offering

edit

The article Initial Milestone Offering has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks all notability, [1]

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. With traditional VCs, the milestone mechanism is crucial so it is applied by most of the projects. Wikipedia also mentioned this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milestone_(project_management)
Initial Milestone Offering is developed based on this model. Despite being not that popular in blockchain space, some certain project has launched it successfully, typically Juice. You can visit the website here: https://info.juicebox.money/
So in short:
The Juicebox protocol is a programmable treasury. Projects can use it to configure how its tokens should be minted when it receives funds, and under what conditions those funds can be distributed to preprogrammed addresses or reclaimed by its community.
By releasing funds in stages by investor vote, JuiceBox is a good fundraising platform for Ethereum-based projects. The platform is built for DAOs, Crowdfunding, NFT Projects, Indie Creators and builders.
So far Juicebox has a total of 903 projects on the platform, with 54,304 payments made, which prove how reliable Juicebox is in particular and also the milestone model in general.
Hope the mentioned details are helpful. Thanks for your time and we are looking forward to seeing your response soon. Dstarterio (talk) 06:15, 6 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
