Spamming links to wvexplorer.com edit

Hello, I'm Vsmith. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Vsmith (talk) 13:28, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

After looking at the article for WVexplorer, I suggest you read WP:Conflict of interest. Simply stated: we aren't here to promote our own work. Vsmith (talk) 13:41, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Questionable sources edit

It looks like your main activity is adding links to commercial sites that promote tourism to your area. Wikipedia an encyclopedia. It's not an advertising medium. Links that promote commercial activities are WP:UNENCYCLOPEDIC. These are also strictly forbidden under Wikipedia's Questionable sources policies:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Identifying_reliable_sources#Questionable_sources

"Such sources include websites and publications expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature..."

You are spending a lot of time adding links that are very likely to be removed. Also some sysop is likely to notice this and ban you. Senor Cuete (talk) 19:24, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
