Your account and editing edit

Hello there! I saw your message at the talk page of ChessBase India's Deletion discussion. It gives the impression that this account represents a company rather than a single person. Wikipedia requires that each edit made here be the responsibility of a single person even if they are editing for a company. So, you'll need to abide by one person per account. Secondly, you need to disclose your conflict of interest as per the instructions at WP:PAID. You should have taken part in the deletion discussion. Coming back after the discussion is over doesn't help. After you make sure only one editor is editing from one account and disclosing your interests, you can start a draft and submit it through the WP:AFC process, which is what you should have done in the first place. Paid editors should not be creating articles directly at all. If you had used the AFC process, you would have received feedback and given an opportunity to improve the draft, and deletion would not have been necessary. However, if all published sources that there are on the company were already in the article you created, there may be little point. Editors looked at the available sources and deemed them insufficient. So, it is unlikely it will be reconsidered unless there are more sources. I was actually surprised that there weren't; so I am sure there will be given time. Finally, do note that Wikipedia is NOT FOR PROMOTION. Regards! Usedtobecool ☎️ 13:04, 26 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
