Applied kinesiology edit

  1. Welcome
  2. On Wikipedia, you are anonymous wp:Wikipedia is anonymous
  3. Per wp:verifiability, all significant information needs to wp:cite a wp:reliable source. Use of your own knowledge, is wp:original research (not acceptable)
  4. Don't remove citations without giving a very good reason for doing so.

Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 06:35, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

August 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Crystallizedcarbon. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Applied kinesiology, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 06:46, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been reverted a couple of times now. Please stop it. (((The Quixotic Potato))) (talk) 21:20, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi there The Quixotic Potato,
why should I stop to correct a page full of errors? I thought Wiki was about giving truthful information. I am following guidelines given to me by a previous editor. If you have something constructive to say I am willing to follow your suggestions to make this page accurate. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreugenecharlesnyc (talkcontribs)
You seem to be unable to differentiate between reliable medical sources and bullshit written by quacks. People may have misled you into thinking that they have taught you useful skills which you can use to help people, but that is simply not true. You are not a doctor. Quacks rarely are. You are a victim of quacks who is creating more victims. You are trying to Right Great Wrongs by telling people the truth. Wikipedia does not care about people's individual versions of the truth, we try to present verifiable information from reliable sources. (((The Quixotic Potato))) (talk) 04:18, 30 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

The Quixotic Potato ...Now the ugly truth comes out. It seems you have a personal prejudice against me and what I have been doing for over 30 years. For the record, I've been published in peer review journals and partook of two rigorous control and cohort studies meticulously coordinated by a Harvard Researcher. So where did you get these malicious opinions of yours? How are you able to work at Wiki?

Whatever your prejudices are, they are unfounded. No intelligent person can cast aspersions against a health discipline (or anything else for that matter) if you have not experienced it firsthand. So I encourage you to stop hiding behind your computer and come to my office and experience an Applied Kinesiology examination and treatment for yourself. If you still feel this way afterwards—while I do not agree—I would defend your right to say it all this. However, if you refuse this request, you suffer the fate of proving yourself to be a bigoted coward who speaks out of ignorance.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreugenecharlesnyc (talkcontribs) 20:29, 30 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you keep posting personal attacks you will get blocked. I don't care but other people do. Did you click the links I posted? Have you read those pages?
Not sure how I can have a personal prejudice against someone I've never met or heard about, and haven't even bothered to Google.
I've never visited the USA and I do not intend to. Maybe you feel very brave calling someone a "bigoted coward who speaks out of ignorance" on the internet, but if I would meet you (which is not going to happen) then you would be very polite to me. Even the people you are scared of would treat me very politely.
Unlike you I have defended people who posted unpopular opinions I disagreed with on Wikipedia, and I didn't demand that they travel thousands of kilometers.
Applied Kinesiology is quackery; I'll stick with my local hospital.
The idea that someone has to try something before they can criticize it is stupid. For example, I have never tried using a dowsing rod, but I know dowsing is bullshit.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Rosner1.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Rosner1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
