Yeah, I think the movie was a bunch of old movie re-cut segments. I read X-men during my teens, and I felt so disappointed. Jean Grey's converting was just like the Exorcist. The bald-headed all "de-mutanizer" kid was a bit of Drew Barrymore from The firestarter. And that bridge-levitating all-diffusing scene was just awful (no meaning, just visual effects). As a whole it gave nothing new. To the plot, to the series continuum, to the sense. But still I will watch X-men spinoffs in the near future. Eden Mor

All copyrighted images at wikipedia (like the one at Eden Mor) have to be Fair Use. If you direct yourself to WP:FU you'll find that we cannot use a copyrighted image merely to illustrate what someone looks like. Sucks, but that's the rule. I don't know how to make it any clearer than to cut and paste from WP:FU. If a picture is copyrighted, which it is obvious that the Eden Mor picture is, we don't get to use it just because we like it. For example, look at the articles for other famous individuals, such as Lance Armstrong or George Clooney and you'll find that the featured pictures were taken by amateurs, as any old picture that could be gotten off the internet would be copyrighted.--Beaker342 22:15, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Some people find it easier to understand the concept of fair use from what is not fair use. Here are a few examples of uses that would almost certainly not be acceptable as fair use:

An article containing one or more unattributed pieces of text from a copyrighted source.

An image of a rose, cropped from an image of a record album jacket, used to illustrate an article on roses.

A detailed map, scanned from a copyrighted atlas, used in an article about the region depicted. The only context in which this might be fair use is if the map itself was a topic of a passage in the article: for example, a controversial map of a disputed territory might be fair use, if this controversy is discussed in the article.

A work of art, not so famous as to be iconic, whose theme happens to be the Spanish Civil War, to illustrate an article on the war. (However, because of its iconic status, it is presumably Fair Use where we have a small image of Picasso's Guernica in the article Bombing of Guernica.)

A photo from a press agency (e.g. Reuters, AP), not so famous as to be iconic, to illustrate an article on the subject of the photo. An image of a Barry Bonds baseball card, to illustrate the article on Barry Bonds. A sports card image is a legitimate fair use if it is used only to illustrate the article (or an article section) whose topic is the card itself; see the Billy Ripken article.

An image of a magazine cover, used only to illustrate the article on the person whose photograph is on the cover. However, if that magazine issue itself is notable enough to be a topic within the article, then fair use may apply.

An image of a living person that merely shows what they look like.

Any image found on the Internet where the original source is unknown or not verifable.

Yes. In specific, you're missing a detailed fair-use rationale. Boilerplate license tags are not a fair-use rationale. Specifically, the fair-use rationale must address both why the use of the image in each article you intend to use it in follows both United States fair-use law and our own requirements for use of nonfree images.
