Speedy deletion declined: Ion Dacian

edit

Hello Dkmfklsdflsmgkrf. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ion Dacian, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is enough here to pass A7, and in fact this has already been kept at AfD. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 10:52, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Prisoners of pain

edit

Hello Dkmfklsdflsmgkrf. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Prisoners of pain, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: WP:CSD#A9 applies only where the artist has no article, but Ugly Leaders have one. This may well not pass WP:NALBUMS, but you will have to use PROD or AfD. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 10:57, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Joey Jett

edit

Hello Dkmfklsdflsmgkrf. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Joey Jett, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: WP:CSD#A3 is only for article with no content - this has several lines of content and a reference - and has n fact previously been kept at AfD. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 11:04, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop speedy tagging

edit

...until you have read WP:CSD carefully, including the section "Non-criteria". Before placing a speedy tag, re-check with WP:CSD that the criterion you choose does actually apply. Also, look in the article's history - if it has been kept at AfD, it is unlikely that a speedy will be appropriate. There is good advice for speedy taggers at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Okay, thanks for the reminder, I promise to never place one again and I want to say sorry. I also hope you won't block my user page. Thanks!
You don't need to stop, New Page Patrol is a useful and necessary activity, but you do need to do it right. Also, when you do speedy-tag an article, you need to copy to the article author's talk page the warning notice which the speedy template generates for you when it is expanded on the article page. Speedy deletion declined: George Telek

edit

Hello Dkmfklsdflsmgkrf. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of George Telek, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: there is enough assertion of importance here to pass A7, which is a lower bar than notability. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 11:15, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Dale s

edit

The article Dale s has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

None of the sources are reliable sources (all are recently created blogs/user generated content). Does not fulfill WP:GNG or WP:MUSIC considering problems with sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
