  Hello, Dipak Mehta UC. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 09:54, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I don't advise it

edit

We have deleted the article on UrbanClap, it has been repeatedly created by abusive accounts violating our terms of use, and you have a vested interest in the content. I strongly recommend you forget this and leave Wikipedia alone. Wikipedia is not for your PR. Guy (Help!) 10:56, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of Draft:UrbanClap

edit

  Draft:UrbanClap, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:UrbanClap and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:UrbanClap during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Guy (Help!) 11:01, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

UrbanClap

edit

Hi, and thanks for your disclosure. Unfortunately, it is unlikely UrbanClap will have an article on Wikipedia in the near future- multiple revisions of the article have been deleted in the past, such that the article is on the title blacklist. Let me try and explain why. All subjects on Wikipedia must be fundamentally notable to have an article. Our guideline on the notability of companies mandates that a company must be discussed in reliable sources as significant in its particular field to be proven as notable. In the case of UrbanClap, multiple editors have judged that is simply too soon for an article, and that UrbanClap is fundamentally non-notable, in which case, if you find this topic interesting, perhaps you might want to host this content on your own blog or website? I'm sorry- I know this isn't the news you wanted. jcc (tea and biscuits) 16:51, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
