"Vandalism" notice (Snakes on a Plane)

Thank you for your concern, but while I admit I was hasty in my edit and didn't explain it, it was neither experimentation nor vandalism. I am familiar with the workings of wikipedia, and my edit to that line in the Snakes on a Plane article was to change the "famous line" listed as being included in the film's reshooting to the actual famous line quoted on the internet, rather than what is currently listed in the article, which I've never heard used in discussion of Snakes on a Plane at all.

If you've got a source for the line in the article being correct, I'll shut up, but it seems like there is no evidence that that is the included line.

Mail Order Bride

Can you please police the Mail Order Bride page (again?)...pls take a look at what has happened since you last reverted....

In the movie Shadowlands Joy Gresham had a son (in real life she had 2 sons), Douglas Gresham, played by Joseph Mazzello.

In the future please check your facts before accusing someone of vandalism.

Thank You

Your Note On My Talk Page

I responded to it on my talk page.--GorillazFan Adam 20:03, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

BBQ?

You left the test warning template on my talk page. I was wondering, what test were you referring to? Don't give an Ameriflag 03:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

You're on a Roll!

I can't even count how many vandals you reported to AIV in the last couple of hours, and not a single one I've disagreed with blocking. Great work! AmiDaniel (talk) 04:37, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Need a range block?

I notice you battling a lot of vandalism on Republic of Moldova from 203.236.16.xx addresses. Do you think we need to block the range? AmiDaniel (talk) 21:01, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Question

What did i leave with blank content? If I did so it was unintentional and I will fix it (as I've had to do twice already). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dstorres (talkcontribs) 20:52, 31 May 2006.

  • I see what I did now. I don't know how when I only changed the picture & caption but I appologise for the deletion. I will endever to be more careful from now on. Dstorres

I am sorry

For removing stuff, but someone removed the Rihanna one, please can you pust it back up!! PLEASE!

Mediation on Byzantine names follow up: some move requests

Thanks again for acting as mediator on this topic. We have followed your recommendation "that proposal two from this page be implemented in the short term, until a consensus can be reached about proposal three", and we have reached a consensus that in order for both popular forms to be searchable we need to adopt proposal three (now B, please see the second survey on Talk:Constantine XI. We have been editing pages accordingly, but the following cannot be moved without administrator help, because of a pre-existing re-direct from what ought to be the article page. The question is one of consistency (which seems important to some users), although the information is otherwise accessible. Could you please reverse these redirects?

Thomas Palaeologus should redirect to Thomas Palaiologos

Michael Psellus should redirect to Michael Psellos

Romanus II should redirect to Romanos II

Constantine IX Monomachus should redirect to Constantine IX Monomachos

John I Tzimisces should redirect to John I Tzimiskes

Thank you in advance, and I would be happy to do the clean up work (removing double redirects, etc). Imladjov 14:42, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

What content have I removed?

I'm not aware of having removed any content. --estavisti 20:18, 1 June 2006 (UTC) I see now, that's a very annoying bug that's popped up over the past few days. I do check every time if WP has decided to deleted half the page. --estavisti 20:20, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Britney Spears

Why did you revert my edit on Britney Spears? I was just trying to add a source (what's wrong with Rotten Tomatoes?). 70.53.3.95 21:00, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

It didn't remove the material. The link I added just moved it down a bit. 70.53.3.95 21:07, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

My RfA

Thanks
Digitalme/Archive 4, thank you for participating in my RfA. Unfortunately, a great number of oppose voters felt that I lacked experience, and a consensus was not reached (the final tally was 30/28/10). Perhaps I will try again in another few months when I have a few more edits under my belt. If I do, I hope I can count on your support. Thanks again! Cool3 talk 21:02, 2 June 2006 (UTC) (UTC)

A haiku of thanks (extra special for being the first!)

Thanks for your support
In my RfA, which passed!
Wise I'll try to be.

As my official first support, I am indebtetted (though that's likely spelled terribly wrong) to you for starting me RfA on a positive note - I thoroughly appreciate your confidence!

My RfA

Thank you for the trust that you had in me when you supported my Request for Adminship. The nomination ended successfully and I am actually overwhelmed by the support that I received. Thanks again! -- Kim van der Linde at venus 07:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Reversion of removal of advertising material by 86.139.211.36 from Advanced Media Network

The material that 86.139.211.36 removed from Advanced Media Network appears to be blatantly self-promotional material written by Advanced Media Network's public relations division and inserted by them with the account Xashade. The insertion of this material by Xashade appears to violate the NPOV and spam policies. I suggest that we remove the advertising material from the article, remove the vandalism warning from 86.139.211.36's talk page, and place a spam vandalism warning on Xashade's talk page. My userpage

Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my userpage. Could you semiprotect it for a little while so that ip users/new users can't vandalize it? Thanks.BigDT 22:44, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

digitalme ia not an admin. --GeorgeMoney T·C 23:42, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I realize that - he replied to me on my talk page. The text of his revert was similar to the text when an administrator performs a revert and so I assumed without looking. Digitalme, thank you for pointing me in the right direction for requesting protection - it's been taken care of. I appreciate your help. BigDT 02:05, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Digitalme. How can I put Tak-contents on my talk-page? Because I've arranged my messages, then put into Archive 1(include welcome message). So, Please Explain to me How could I make the contents. thanks. '''*Daniel*''' 23:40, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

My Thanks

I wanted to drop a brief note on your talk page (one admittedly not written to you only, but nevertheless truly meant) to thank you for your vote in my Request for Adminship, which concluded this evening. Even though it was unsuccessful, it did make clear to me some areas in which I can improve my contributions to Wikipedia, both in terms of the areas in which I can participate and the manner in which I can participate. I do plan on, at some point in the future (although, I think, not the near future), attempting the process again, and I hope you will consider participating in that voting process as well. If you wish in the future to offer any constructive criticism to me, or if I may assist you with anything, I hope you will not hesitate to contact me. Thanks again. — WCityMike (T | C)  ⇓ plz reply HERE  (why?) ⇓  04:30, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks
Digitalme/Archive 4, thank you for participating in my RfA. It passed with an amazingly unopposed 77/0/1. Thanks for the support everybody! I promise to try and knock out Wikipedia's problems wherever I may find them!

"Hobos" revert and your warning to me about "blanking":

Did you actually look at my modification? The article is full of completely unsourced (indeed, unsourcable and highly dubious) information, and is not formatted properly. I'm deleting everything that falls under that category, which is a lot of it, and leaving the relevent, sourced info. The article's top paragraph was also somewhat nonsensical, which is why I rewrote it.

This is hardly "blanking" an article. --72.224.146.182 04:22, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Re: RFA

Thank you for supporting me in my recently unsuccessful RfA. I plan on working harder in the coming months so that I have a better chance of becoming an admin in the future.
