Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at User talk:Utkarsh Singh Yadav. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much!   Hello, I'm Chariotrider555. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Utkarsh Singh Yadav that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Chariotrider555 (talk) 13:54, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The People of India as a is not a reliable source

edit

As has been discussed multiple times and stated at User:Sitush/Common#CasteAFDs and User:Sitush/CasteSources#The_People_of_India, The People of India is not a reliable source. It is written by an administrator, not a anthropologist, and it plagiarizes British Raj era sources, which are also not reliable sources. British Raj era sources are especially noted for not understanding Sanskritization and for accepting various claims that castes made in order to secure their place in British Raj society.
