editHi DeXXus, I'm just wondering what happened to the addition I made to the page on coaching: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaching. I added the CCF organization to the list, which should be included. CCF has certified more coaches in the last 4 fours than most other coach training organizations. This was my first time editing this page and I made a few mistakes. I should have viewed each comment before I saved my entry. I hope this didn't cause my comments to be mistaken for spam. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.24.1.32 (talk) 15:20, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi DeXXus!
I saw your 're-model' of the Waverly Page! Nice Job and Thanks!
--Waverlyny (talk) 23:18, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Mike, I'm guessing that you don't realize that each of your repeated attempts to add your name to the Waverly page are clearly documented in the history (both as above username AND/OR via IP addresses you use). Save yourself from yourself ;)
Sammy Davis Jr on Hee Haw
editI removed his as I cannot find a citation in lists of TV appearances he was ever on the show. Can you provide one? I'll leave it alone if you can cite it. Cheers, TristaBella (talk) 18:54, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
I did finally find something...
editAbout Sammy Davis Jr being on Hee Haw and will certainly leave it alone. The "his lists" I meant was when I checked on Sammy Davis Jr TV appearances, not specifically asking for Sammy on Hee Haw - okay? I made a mistake, and I am sorry. TristaBella (talk) 04:11, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Changes to coaching
editHi DeXXus,
I was wondering about my change to this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaching. The Institute of Leadership & Management research is more recent than the CMI research and therefore I felt more up to date. At first I added the new research as an addition, but I then thought that might be overdoing it and readers would only want to see one set of research, as both pointed in the same direction.
There was no intention to spam and the research cited is legitimate and was carried out by an authoritative body responsible for setting educational standards in the area. The citation was included to demonstrate this.
If you think it wrong to remove the CMI reference then that's fine, but I think the more up-to-date research is still of equal relevance and usefulness. I'd like to reinstate the reference and perhaps you can feed back if you think this is wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.231.143.75 (talk) 15:21, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Waverly Page
editHi DeXXus! I'm interested in improving the Waverly page and see that you have contributed a lot to it so I wanted to give you a heads-up. I also posted on WikiProject_New_York a call for help and feedback. Looking forward to your thoughts and continued participation... Bardobro (talk) 16:11, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Chronological order of lists
editI noticed that you changed Silver Slugger Award last year to be sorted from earliest-to-latest to latest-to-earliest.[1]. You might not have been aware, but that is contrary to the guideline WP:SALORDER: "Chronological lists, including all timelines and lists of works, should be in earliest-to-latest chronological order." Don't worry, I went and reversed the order back, but wanted to let you know in the event you encounter anything similar in the future. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 02:14, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

Survey Invite
editI'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 23:08, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

edit>Slang
editUsing "post-war", "pre-war" and other such constructions as adverbs is indeed ungrammatical "cool dude" slang. As adjectives, though, they are all right. Kelisi (talk) 18:35, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

Regarding my edit on Waverly, Tioga County, New York
editThe reason I reverted the edit wasn't because of its content, it was because of the username of the user that originally posted it. The user had an apparent COI and got indeffed because of their username. The content was fine, the username was the issue. Jdcomix (talk) 00:47, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
- Absent any explanation, I researched the info and restored the valid edits, as a non-COI editor. Unfortunately, the likely village employee appears to have been accomplishing a task with no understanding that it would come to this. Cheers ~ DeXXus (talk) 01:31, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
