Hello, I'm wondering where you got the map info for the Merseyside County Council elections. I've created pages for all the Wirral local elections and have only been able to find the boundaries from 1983 onward. User:Brianbbrian

@Brianbbrian: I got them from a map at Liverpool Central Library, which I scanned, and then traced the boundary lines in GIMP and then converted it to a shapefile in QGIS. I'm happy to send them to you if you want. David Jeffery (talk) 11:14, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

What an absolute joke - so as one of the very few academics doing peer-reviewed research on this specific institution I can't link to published, peer-reviewed work, which I don't financially benefit from? How petty. David Jeffery (talk) 12:42, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

Looking back at your history you have pushed your academic work quite a bit. If the published, peer-reivewed work is relevant to the article / adds value, then I'm sure others will add it. Why not suggest it for consideration on the article's talk page? 10mmsocket (talk) 12:51, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

Your use of the word 'pushing' is pretty loaded, considering that I don't get any financial benefit from this. I only mention my work on Wikipedia because it's relevant and it's on topics I'm passionate about. I will suggest it on the article's talk page but that seems like an unnecessary barrier to sharing knowledge. David Jeffery (talk) 12:57, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
