Fair use rationale for File:Aston Merrygold at XFactor Audition.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Aston Merrygold at XFactor Audition.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. GFOLEY FOUR16:54, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Warning about promotional pages and use of multiple accounts

edit

As a result of a community discussion at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:DanielmatthewEffin, I have deleted your main user page and a sub-page as inappropriate promotion of items unrelated to Wikipedia. Two additional accounts that had similar promotional material have been blocked and the promotional pages deleted. Continued abuse of multiple accounts will result in your main account being blocked as well. I see that you have a substantial contribution history, and I would hate to see a productive editor blocked, so please, no more use of Wikipedia for promoting unrelated activities. You are welcome to mention your outside activities on your user page to let other editors know about who you are, but do not create promotional pages that resemble Wikipedia articles and definitely no more promotional alternate accounts.

If you believe these other accounts are not yours and have been mistakenly identified with you, please let me know. Otherwise, just stop. Thank you for your attention to this. --RL0919 (talk) 16:02, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have deleted your main userpage again because you re-created the content about the album, which was deleted per community consensus. If you recreate it again, you will be blocked. --RL0919 (talk) 19:02, 28 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. TNXMan 17:59, 1 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Cody Simpson-Summertime (Official Single Cover).jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Cody Simpson-Summertime (Official Single Cover).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Chloe Coyle

edit

The article Chloe Coyle has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
