DNA Tribes is not a reliable source by our criteria

See WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. DNA Tribes has been discussed before and the consensus is that we should use academic publications, not private firms.

There's another point though about sources that are considered reliable - there can still be an issue about what they can be used for. A scientist who is a reliable source for his/her field may not be a reliable sources when writing outside their field, eg Barry Fell. In this case a study not designed to look at population history, etc, isn't a reliable soure for such topics. Doug Weller talk 11:27, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
