November 2014 edit

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you.   Please do not attack other editors, as you did on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Raul Cătinaș. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Accusing someone of sockpuppetry without evidence is a personal attack. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 18:45, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have to agree with Demiurge1000. You leveled an accusation of sockpuppetry against another user during the AfD discussion. If you really suspect it, and if you have evidence, then present the information on your talk page or the other user's, or start a sockpuppet investigation. However, you should not make ungrounded accusations of sockpuppetry on an AfD discussion page. —C.Fred (talk) 19:42, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Fred, that guy has never talked about kickboxing. He's fooling all the people. I apologise about canvassing. You need to be really smart to see I'm the honest guy in this matter. Dammst (talk) 21:59, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
He may not have any edits related to kickboxing, but with nearly 44,000 edits, he knows his way around Wikipedia enough to know its policies, including the deletion policy and WP:Canvassing. He probably also had enough users' talk pages in his watchlist to see the batch of messages you sent out to users, which is why he got involved. There's nothing improper there. —C.Fred (talk) 04:10, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
