Thank you for your quick response and guidelines you provided to make the article fit for Wiki's approval. I appreciate it very much. I working on them and i do hope i get them right this time. Thank you so much.Cynthiapinto123 (talk) 06:32, 28 October 2013 (UTC) _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Reply

Hi please could you help me fix the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Toni_Will%C3%A9_(Artist) so that it can be approved by wikipedia. i'm new to creating an article on wikipedia. This article is the biography of a very famous Dutch artist and lead vocalist called 'Toni Wille' from the 70s pop music group 'Pussycat'. I have searched everywhere on internet but never found a single article on her which is strange as she is such an established singer. She continues to perform at concerts all over the world even today. She was responsible for international hit number called 'Mississipi' which was released in 1976 and sold millions of records as well as a string of other hits all through the 70s and 80s.

I strongly recommend that this biography be approved as a mark of respect to her. For this i need your help. i have been informed that the sources are not reliable. the sources ive mentioned are all authentic as they have been written by journalists, event organizers who have managed her events in the past as well as IMDB. I have spoken to the artist myself as she is also my good friend and I have personally sent her the biography and had her approved. Would you want her to send you an email approving of the same? please let me know. However, the decision to publish this article has been entirely mine as I look at it as a tribute to her from a fan's point of view. Thank youCynthiapinto123 (talk) 09:23, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please take a look at the requirements for notability for musicians. There needs to be indication of having been on the top music charts, gold or higher sales of albums or major music awards. In looking over the article again, there does appear to be one criteria which can be met, which is the EMI record deal, but that was with the group, not as a solo artist. And the time on the German charts is another indication of notability.
The references are weak. iMDb, the band's web site and the promoter's website are all related to the subject and not independent. The other thing to fix is the in line citations. See WP:CHEAT for some help on how to do that. I think you are a lot closer than most of the articles submitted. Just don't try to compare with any other articles unless they are rated as a B-class or above. The Ukulele Guy - Aggie80 (talk) 11:01, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Toni Willé, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ensemble. Country Duets

edit

Hi Cynthiapinto123, in the article on Toni Willé you have listed a album called Country Duets with Major Dundee[1]. I have been searching a lot but could not find it in listings anywhere. Nor on the website of Willé or on the website of the band Major Dundee. Are you sure about that. There is a title that is quite similar, namely American Duets. Are they maybe the same? As a matter of fact, I have written the Dutch article on Willé now and I am thinking on writing on a couple of albums of her too. Would be nice if you could find a source where Country Duets is mentioned. Best wishes, Ymnes (talk) 16:50, 25 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

There's another question I have. This photograph mentions Werner Theunissen, the songwriter of Pussycat. I was wondering if it's really him, because John Theunissen was playing in Sweet Reaction at that time. Ymnes (talk) 14:22, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your answer. I have linked her on my page. If you have a prettier portrait photograph of Toni Willé than I used in her article on Dutch Wikipedia (infobox), it would be very welcome. As a matter of fact my main focus has been on the article of Pussycat. I have written articles of all their singles and albums as well. The article only needs some finishing touch, so I'm almost ready. Searching on the internet, it seems in YouTube that she has made an album with country songs with Nits. I you have more information on that one, it would be a welcome addition to her article as well. Nits is a very good and acclaimed band. One more question. Do you know if de song Daddy of Sweet Reaction (1975 & 1977)[2][3] is the same song as Daddy (1979) of Pussycat? Thank you for helping searching   Ymnes (talk) 09:53, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Actually, you have the contacts with Toni. So I think it's better that you stay in contact with her. For someone who speaks Dutch, wikiportret is a very easy website which is set up by Dutch language volunteers of Wikipedia. Ymnes (talk) 12:52, 4 August 2015 (UTC) - just in case, at gmail my account is ymnes.nl (inclusive of the point) - good quality portrait might have been better described.
