April 2023 edit

Hello, I'm 3mi1y. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Byju's—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. mi1yT·C 05:11, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

@3mi1y hey Emily, is it because I cited the site itself instead of an article about them? I'm not sure what part of my edit wasn't neutral Curdflappers (talk) 05:14, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
No, I was apparently not paying attention on that one. It looked like a spam link at first glance (changing existing refs to their own links is a thing spammers do sometimes), I missed that it was a link to the same company the article is about. I've reverted my revert. Sorry about that! mi1yT·C 05:18, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@3mi1y no worries, thanks for the super fast follow up! have a good day :) Curdflappers (talk) 05:18, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
