Panayiotis Jacovides edit

Please see the note I left on the talk page of the above article. The vandalism was pretty out of hand, it seemed to be nearly all fiction, but what remains is not verifiable, and I strongly doubt any of it is true, the only thing I could verify is he is a member of the Cyprus Rugby team, but he's not captain (the site says only "possible future captain".) I don't know if you're familiar with this subject, but if you are, and would be willing to help get that article complying with WP:BLP that would be great. Thanks! December 2007 edit

 Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! Jmlk17 07:42, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

My userpage edit

Thank you for the prompt revert! Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 16:31, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem!! I look out for all pages, not just the ones in the main namespace. From looking at that persons username "Wikiscrewer" I am leaning towards a vandalism only account and I am itching to recommend a block... now that he has been given a final warning, we just have to wait for him to do one more edit and he is gone. Cryptk(talk) 16:33, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Beat you to it - reverted his vandalism to your userpage, and have listed him at WP:AIV. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 16:35, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
And that's an indef block...Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 16:35, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

a little help edit

{{helpme}}

I am wondering if there is a way to hide one of the link boxes down the left side of the wikipedia window. Specifically the Languages box... I am using a gadget to allow me to make custom link boxes, which I have several links that I use on a regular basis in, but they get added on to the bottom, the languages box is rather large and makes me have to scroll down to get to my custom boxes. If there was a way I could make the boxes "collapsible" that would work too... but if I can only remove one, that is fine, I never use anything in the languages box... Add this line to your monobook.css:
#p-lang {
    display: none;
}
