From Kanchanamala

CrazyChemGuy, please don't get carried away by the freedoms given by Wikipedia to revert edits in the article on Bangalore. After all, LoneWolfBC does not own that article. Thanks.Kanchanamala 06:18, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

The edit I reverted([1]) was blatant vandalism. My revert had nothing to do with any differences in opinion you and LoneWolfBC might have about what belongs in the article. CrazyChemGuy 18:47, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

CCG, I respect you for the information. Thanks.Kanchanamala 02:38, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

From Mark Dittmer, re: Gary Radnich

You undid my recent edit, and re-inserted a link on the Gary Radnich page that essentially exists only to insinuate he is a racist.

There is no factual support for this insinuation. There is no arguing that the link (to an article by Art Spander about a controversy that surrounded KNBR talk show host Larry Krueger) is not primarily about Gary Radnich, and only mentions him tangentially. Therefore, the only reason it's been linked here is to insinuate that Radnich is a racist, and there is no factual support for such an insinuation.

The link has not been edited to consensus. indeed, there is little support on the discussion page for inclusion of this link.

The introductory paragraph at the beginning of the "Reactions" section is not very important. But this Spander link, introduced in the text as "Art Spander panned Radnich for his support of Larry Krueger's racist comments," is inflammatory and so misleading as to take away from the integrity of wikipedia. In is essentially vandalism. I don't see how you can support it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark dittmer (talkcontribs) 00:48, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

P.S.

I see from visiting my own talk page and that of another contributor to the Radnich page that you are in a way working to mediate this. However, the fact is that in this case the other guy is totally out in left field, and a compromise that allows that link to remain in the Radnich stub is not an acceptable compromise.

I am not questioning Art Spander's credentials, but here he is being blatantly misrepresented. The article cited is not reaction to Radnich but rather reaction to a controversy involving one of Radnich's colleagues. The controversy itself is dealt with more appropriately on Larry Krueger's page (the columnist who actually got in hot water), and this article is nowhere linked on that page.

Sorry, I'm repeating myself. Please reconsider your recent changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark dittmer (talkcontribs) 01:18, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry. I got mixed up looking at the history. You didn't undo my edits, rather you undid the edits of the guy who undid them. Thanks for that. I'll try talking to the right person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark dittmer (talkcontribs) 16:56, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Pharmacology Update

Here are a few updates in the realm of WikiProject Pharmacology:

  • The Pharmacology Collaboration of the Week has been changed to Collaboration of the Month, based on current participation levels. It is also more likely that articles collaborated on for one month are more likely to achieve featured quality than articles worked on for only a week or two.

Rollback

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 00:10, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
