Poppy

edit

I can't thank you enough for your organization of Poppy's covers on the discography page. I'm the original creator of the chart and it's such an embarrassment based on how many covers I added to her original singles listing. 😂 You really know your stuff. -- AlexanderHovanec (talk) 19:12, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Don't mind it! 🙂 I should be the one thanking you for making these new additions to Poppy page. Keep up with the good work! Coupure Électrique (talk) 22:54, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'm sure you're already much aware of this considering you even edited the page. Nonetheless, I wanna say your contributions to the old "List of unreleased Poppy songs" (before it was deleted) were not in vein. On the grounds of articles like List of songs recorded by the Beatles or List of songs recorded by Panic! at the Disco, I was able to forge an article (List of songs recorded by Poppy#Covers) in which allowed the inclusion of Poppy's unreleased songs, and most importantly, the wonderful chart of covers you took the time to make. So again, your chart was not created in vein and has been made available once again. Thanks and keep up the good work. -- AlexanderHovanec (talk) 19:40, 15 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
The list of songs page was removed by an admin. I talked to him on his talk page about it, and asked for a RfD instead of an instant removal, but backed off a little when it became apparent that maybe the release of the new album will be a better time for the page. I wouldn't count the EP mentioned below as a new album, more of an attempt by the company to make more money off of a lesser version of the original material. Remix EP

edit

Hi. Saw that you (adding to your very good work on the Poppy pages) added a new remix EP. I tried listening to the remixes, and couldn't get through more than a few seconds. Did Sinclair and Poppy approve this mishmash of several different remixes? I suppose they had to unless they didn't hold the copyright, but jeez, way to dilute the brand. Do you have any more information about how this EP came about? Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:32, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

It was probably Mad Decent's idea, neither Poppy or Titanic posted anything on their social medias and seem to be over with this album/era since the new album is nearly done. They must have approved it, of course, but I guess they had no choice. On the other hand, they could be testing the reception of a new sonority. They did mention on that trip to Japan they wanted to try Vaporwave for her second studio album, and this EP kinda has this vibe to it. Coupure Électrique (talk) 16:44, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I think I'll wait for the second studio album, which they had musical authority over. The very little I allowed myself to listen to this new Mad Decent thing it grated and didn't have the Poppy vibe. Too bad they decided to play with one of their stars like this. I guess it has to be mentioned on the Poppy.Computer page, but I'm not going to do it. Randy Kryn (talk) 21:27, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Am I A Girl?

edit

@Coupure Électrique: Hello, I saw your edits related to Poppy, I'm just letting you know, I made a draft for her upcoming album, can you help me add more information about it? Thanks. hueman1 (talk) 01:33, 20 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I've added some info to the draft page based on what we have about the album until now. The text is probably not really good, but I guess it's a start! Coupure Électrique (talk) 04:09, 20 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, It's not that good but it's a draft. Thanks. --hueman1 (talk) 23:17, 20 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hello, I also made a draft for Am I A Girl Tour. --hueman1 (talk) 08:48, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
