Coplan's Scratch Pad edit

My current articles of focus:

SceneSpot edit

Hey Coplan.. I see you recreated the SceneSpot article. I added a note. Sorry, but it was voted for deletion a couple months ago, and the recreated article so far doesn't look any more likely to evade an Afd. In fact, it might quality for Speedy deletion as re-creation of a deleted article. So, unless you can really convince someone to retract the previous deletion, or can create an article that would pass all notability checks, you should probably leave the article deleted. --Vossanova 20:02, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I wasn't aware it was ever deleted. In its prime, SceneSpot had over 700 subscribers. It was host to Static Line as well. Unfortunately, this was before its core was switched to PHP (probably a mistake). I can see the notability claim, however. If it's valid to be deleted, then so be it. I have a bunch of links in old articles to clean up, however. Coplan 20:42, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
I expanded the Static Line article to include SceneSpot (as they are hand-in-hand) and the SceneSpot article now redirects to Static Line. --Coplan 17:14, 19 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
OK. That'll work. --Vossanova 17:34, 19 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Philly meetup edit

FYI - I am still interested in any future Philly meetups. Schedule sucks, and I didn't get to log on for a long while. I missed the latest one because I literally didn't log in to see the invitation. But keep posting the invites, and I'll try to make it to one.

DYK edit

On 12 November, 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article McGillin's Olde Ale House, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Your upload of File:Coplan.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Your thoughts? edit

Timeline of Philadelphia has a discussion about selection and inclusion criteria. Two editors are discussing it, but we have divergent views. More opinions would be helpful. - SummerPhDv2.0 13:11, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Phl wash monument.jpg edit

The file File:Phl wash monument.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 20 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
