Black estate edit

A tag has been placed on Black estate, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Black estate and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 16:51, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Amy Morken edit

  Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Amy Morken, you will be blocked from editing. Cunard (talk) 16:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nevermind. Amy Morken does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. Cunard (talk) 17:15, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Amy Morken edit

The article Amy Morken has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:NOTABILITY or WP:ARTIST. Only references in secondary sources are very brief mentions, including the NY Times listing that is listed below. No detailed reviews that I can find to suggest notability. Created by a user called cofawiki whose contributions and username suggest a conflict of interest with the Claire Oliver Fine Arts gallery that represent Morken.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Slp1 (talk) 21:24, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Cofawiki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article AES+F, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID). Thank you. Widefox; talk 15:39, 24 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
