Dendura

A tag has been placed on Dendura, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Dendura and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Honest, but not a mistake. However, I've restored to allow more work As Dendura continues to grow in popularity, fans eagerly await the release of their debut album is pure spam, if that stays, it will still struggle jimfbleak (talk) 07:52, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for you're understanding, I have rewritten the offending paragraph, and hope you will be able to take a look at it soon. I would also really appreciate the removal of any tags that you may feel no longer apply, like hopefully speedy deletion (fingers crossed). Cobra Blade (talk) 08:07, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I've removed some of the tags (although it still needs copyediting). The notability seems largely to rely on association with notable people/companies rather than own merit, but I'm a Brit, so I don't know how significant being big in Grand Rapids is. The article shouldn't be speedied for notability, since it does have independent references. Ask Alex to take another look jimfbleak (talk) 09:56, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
