Speedy deletion nomination of JAS Worldwide

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on JAS Worldwide, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Orphaned non-free image File:JASWorldwide.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:JASWorldwide.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 09:12, 2 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, so if I simply delete the image it can be reinstated? Please advise how this can be done since the article has been deleted. Thanks again! cmroberson06

You've had the article reinstated into your userspace already. Wikipedia can only host a copy of the logo for fair-use. Once your article is ready for publication you can request the file be restored in the same way as you did for the article.
However, you'll need to show why the company is notable. Not just big, but NOTABLE. The more you try to promote the article without establishing the company's notability the more it will look like advertising, and the closer you will come to having the article permanently blocked from creation.
Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 09:17, 14 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
