The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

First tasks

 Partly done was changed to  Done because you did them all! One suggestion is that you add links to your user page. I did this with University of Southern Indiana on your user page. Can you do this to Journalism by adding two brackets before and after the term that has an article. Crtew (talk) 02:22, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Adopt a journalist project

You're assigned the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service that was won by the Los Angeles Times and the first ever for Latino journalists. You can edit José Galvez (photojournalist) (click here to edit) and include a photo of him for a future digital photography assignment.
