Team High Road edit

  If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Team High Road, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. This relates to the note you placed on your user page Regards Matilda talk 20:25, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for your reply. The signature is excellent :-) ! The really important thing is WP:V. Also don't remove anything that is supported with a citation (ie has a ref tag). If you need some help, want to remove something which is supported by a cite and think it is unfair - ask me and I am happy to look into it for you or raise it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cycling. On Wikipedia disambiguation has a specific meaning - see Wikipedia:Disambiguation. When you say i do have great interest, in disambiguating many of the team's past (t-mobile, telekom) from its present and future (high road, columbia) I think you need to thin through what it might look like, discuss on the article's talk page, ... it may be for instance that reordering the article to have history as a subsection below the current team's activities might work. Happy to discuss further Regards Matilda talk 21:58, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
