  Hello, I'm GreaterPonce665. I noticed that you recently removed content from Harding University without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Clbarker18. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Harding University, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. TheMrP (talk) 02:48, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Harding University, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Because you have a conflict of interest, it is particularly important that you thoroughly explain why you are removing large amounts of well-cited information from the article. TheMrP (talk) 02:58, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Harding University, you may be blocked from editing. You are removing content from the Harding University article which discusses controversies related to the university. Because you have stated that you have a conflict of interest, it is critical that your edits are neutral. I encourage you to use the request edit template on the talk page so that neutral editors may review your edits. In addition, it is critical that you provide neutral, reliable sources to support your changes. I encourage to read the policies at WP:COI for more info on conflicts of interest and WP:SOURCE for more information on reliable sources. If you have questions, I encourage you to leave a message on my talk page. Thanks! TheMrP (talk) 03:58, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
