Leaving Wikipedia
editAfter been unfairly blocked for 72 hours, and unsuccessfully contesting the block four times, I have decided to abandon Wikipedia. If this is the way they reward valuable contributors, then I don't want to be here. ☆ CieloEstrellado 02:10, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Good, then maybe you won't be constantly changing election templates and refusing to talk about it with others. --Petrovic-Njegos (talk) 16:57, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- Oh he'll probably just sign up with another account and keep vandalizing. Be sure to look for him on Wikipedia Scanner etc.24.155.205.244 (talk) 18:54, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
- I think it speaks volumes that you had to use an anonymous IP to issue that personal attack. ☆ CieloEstrellado 19:18, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- I thought you left.--Petrovic-Njegos (talk) 18:02, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- Nah. I think I'm gonna stick around just to edit election templates now. What do you think? ☆ CieloEstrellado 05:47, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Chronology of events of the 2009 Honduran coup d'état
editAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Chronology of events of the 2009 Honduran coup d'état. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chronology of events of the 2009 Honduran coup d'état. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
editHello CieloEstrellado! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 687 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mhiji (talk) 14:37, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invitation to take a look at our first article.
editHi! We are students writing an article on Manzanillo Port as part of our class Academic Discourse and Writing at Tec de Monterrey. Since you are an experienced Wikipedia and have an interest in these kind of topics, we would like to know if you could take a few moments to take a look at the article and give us feedback. Thank you for your time.--Arantza Cruz (talk) 21:46, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Template:Union of South American Nations (Unasur\Unasul) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Redirect was only used in four articles (which have been changed to use the target instead). Odd title misusing backslash (for slash).
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 16:32, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

The file File:OALD widget screenshot tmp.png has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the file should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
