Vandalism reversion (reply) edit

Yes, you did the right thing. I'm in something of a minority because I don't always warn; I think it sometimes antagonises them. But if a vandal persists after receiving a 'final' warning then it can't be wrong to report them to WP:AIV and let an admin make the final call.
